A memorial program was organised by the 36th Assam rifles in memory of Late Captain Kenguruse on 26th April 2019 at St. Xavier School Jalukie.

A statue of Capain Neikezhakhuo Kenguruse, Mahavir Chakra (Posthumous) 2nd Rajputana Rifle was unveiled by Neiselie, father of Lt. Kenguruse in the presence of DIG 6 sector Assam Rifles. 

In his short speech, he expressed his gratitude to the 36th Assam Rifles for organising a remarkable program in honor of his son. Deputy Commissioner Peren, SP Peren and public attended the program.
