Silchar | The remaining roadwork on the East-West Corridor from Nirmbanglo through Jatinga to Harangajao, particularly at Dalaichunga and Kapurcherra, has been completed. With this, travel between Guwahati and Silchar can now be undertaken smoothly without any diversion.

This is a major milestone for the communication network of Barak Valley and its overall socio-economic development.
