Silchar: A comprehensive textbook titled Goods and Services Tax (GST) authored by Dr. Pranesh Debnath, Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Assam University, has been published by Success Mantra Publications, Kolkata.

The book contains 10 chapters and has been designed for students pursuing MBA, CA, ICWA, BBA, M.Com., and B.Com. courses. According to the author, the textbook has been prepared in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and aims to support teaching and learning in undergraduate and postgraduate management programmes.

The publication is expected to benefit students and educators at higher educational institutions across the country, including degree colleges, universities, NITs, IITs, and IIMs. Besides academic use, the book is also expected to serve as a practical guide for GST practitioners and tax consultants.
