Assam University Research Scholar Justina Teronpi Meets President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan

Silchar: Justina Teronpi, a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Assam University, had the opportunity to meet Droupadi Murmu during a special interactive session held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 2.

Teronpi was among 202 scholars selected under the National Fellowship for Scheduled Tribes (NFST) who participated in the programme organised by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. The event was aimed at recognising the academic achievements of NFST scholars and highlighting their contributions to research and national development.

Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Business Administration at Assam University, Teronpi is conducting her research under the supervision of Dr. Juthika Konwar.

She has recently completed her pre-submission seminar and is now in the final stages of preparing her doctoral thesis for submission.

Apart from her research work, Teronpi is also serving as a guest faculty member in the Department of Business Administration, contributing to academic activities and student learning.

Her participation in the interaction with the President is being viewed as a matter of pride for Assam University and the academic community of the region. The event provided scholars from across the country with an opportunity to engage with the President and share their academic experiences and aspirations.
