All types of vehicular traffic movement bound to Sonabarighat will remain closed at Chencoorie underpass on NH-53 with effect from 23rd January 2021.

Issuing a letter to this effect on Saturday  Assistant Executive Engineer PWD, Hailakandi N.H Subdivision (Silchar camp) Arjun Chandra Mandal stated that due to carry out balance road work of Silchar bypass the road will remain closed until further notice, however, he expressed his regret over inconvenience thus caused to the general public during this period.
