Silchar: The State Election Commission, Assam has published the Draft Electoral Roll 2026 for the Silchar Municipal Corporation and has urged eligible voters to verify their names and electoral details.

Voters can check the draft electoral roll by visiting the Election Roll Management System (ERMS) portal. They can either download the electoral roll PDF by selecting the district, ward, and polling station or search directly using their EPIC number.

The draft electoral rolls are also available for public inspection at the offices of the District Commissioner, the Silchar Municipal Corporation, and the concerned police stations.

Citizens who find any errors or omissions in the draft roll may submit claims and objections by contacting the concerned Returning Officer (RO), Assistant Returning Officer (ARO), or district election officials. The prescribed claim and objection forms are available at RO and ARO offices as well as on the official websites of the State Election Commission.

The Commission has appealed to all eligible voters to verify their electoral details during the draft publication period to ensure accurate voter records and strengthen the democratic process.
