Karimganj: A voter from the South Karimganj constituency in Assam has alleged that his four children were expelled from a mosque-run educational institution after he voted for an Asom Gana Parishad candidate in the 2026 Assam Assembly elections.

The voter claimed that the action was politically motivated and linked to his support for the AGP during the recently concluded polls. The incident has sparked concern in the area, though no official statement has yet been issued by the institution authorities.
