GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma gave a witty response to a social media post discussing which Tier-2 Indian cities could emerge as Tier-1 cities over the next decade.

Reposting the question, Sarma shared a popular dialogue from the web series Mirzapur, “Bhool toh nahi gaye humme?”, and added, “Guwahatians be like.”

His post appeared to draw attention to Guwahati’s growing urban profile and its aspirations to emerge as a major city in the country.
