India on Monday strongly condemned Pakistan’s air strikes on Afghan territory that reportedly killed civilians, including women and children. Describing the strikes as a “blatant act of aggression”, the Ministry of External Affairs said they violated Afghanistan’s sovereignty and posed a serious threat to regional peace and stability.

India also called for respect for Afghanistan’s territorial integrity and urged efforts to maintain peace in the region.
