Hailakandi: Aiming to bring hope to couples battling infertility, Guwahati-based Janitva IVF Centre organised a free infertility treatment camp in Hailakandi on Sunday. The camp, held from 10 AM to 2 PM, provided free medical consultations and check-ups to nearly 60 couples under the guidance of leading infertility specialist Dr. Nasrin Sultana Laskar.

The initiative was designed to assist couples from diverse age groups in their pursuit of parenthood. The attendees received expert counselling, diagnostic services, and essential medical advice related to infertility and reproductive health all at no cost.

Addressing the media, Dr. Nasrin Sultana Laskar emphasised the rising prevalence of infertility in today’s society. “Infertility is becoming increasingly common, and there’s a pressing need to educate people about reproductive health. This camp was not just about treatment it was about creating awareness and offering support to those silently suffering,” she said.

She also noted that Janitva IVF Centre is committed to making advanced and empathetic fertility care accessible to all, regardless of socio-economic background. “Our goal is to bring scientific and compassionate infertility solutions closer to the people and support healthy family formation,” Dr. Laskar added.

The camp was smoothly conducted with the assistance of healthcare professionals including nurse Banglai Halam and other team members. Many participants expressed heartfelt thanks after receiving expert medical guidance and emotional encouragement from the attending doctors.

The camp received an overwhelming response from the local community, with many describing it as a much-needed initiative offering both medical relief and renewed hope for aspiring parents.
