Silchar: In a determined effort to find a long-term solution to the persistent waterlogging problem in the Budhurail area under Ambicapur Gaon Panchayat, Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty carried out an extensive inspection of the affected locality on Thursday.

Accompanied by BJP Mandal President, newly elected GP President Mohan Lal Goala, Vice-President Baby Rani Das, AP Member Namita Das, and other group members and local party workers, the MLA took stock of the ground situation and interacted with residents to understand their concerns.

MLA Chakraborty assured the public that appropriate measures would soon be taken to improve drainage systems and road conditions in the area. The local leadership also reiterated their commitment to resolving the issue at the earliest, emphasizing the BJP’s priority on strengthening civic infrastructure and responsive governance at the grassroots level.
