Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026 to Be Held from November 2 to 14

Dimapur: The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has announced that the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games (NOPG) 2026 will be held from November 2 to 14 at Chümoukedima and Dimapur.

The disciplines for the 2026 edition have been finalised by the NOA in line with the proposed 4th North East Games 2026, keeping in view the available infrastructure and resources.

The Games will feature nine disciplines: Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Pencak Silat, Taekwondo and Wushu. All disciplines will have men’s and women’s events, except football, which will be conducted for men.

A separate competition notification will be issued to the concerned sports associations. The contingents participating in the Games will represent the 17 districts of Nagaland.

The registration of players and teams will be conducted online from October 1, 2026, while the last date for submission of player and official registrations is October 15, 2026. The NOA has stated that no changes to the registered names will be allowed after the registration process is completed.

The Games Organizing Committee will provide accommodation, local transportation, food and technical arrangements for the competitions in the host cities. The dates for arrival and departure of the contingents will be announced separately.
