Silchar: An organisational meeting of the BJP was held on Monday at Ward No. 27 under New Silchar Mandal in preparation for the upcoming Silchar Municipal Corporation elections.

The meeting was attended by Silchar MLA Dipayan Chakraborty, BJP Cachar district committee president Rupam Saha, senior district leaders, and a large number of party workers.

Speakers at the gathering stressed on strengthening the party’s grassroots network and ensuring active participation of workers in the election campaign. Party leaders also urged the cadres to work in unity to secure victory in the forthcoming polls.
