Goalpara: Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday addressed a large election campaign rally at Dhopatola in Assam’s Goalpara district, launching a sharp attack on both the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Speaking at a gathering held at FR High School in Dhopatola, Owaisi accused the Congress of introducing policies which, he claimed, are now being aggressively implemented by the BJP government in the state.

In a strongly worded remark, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader described the Congress as the “B-Team” of the BJP, holding it equally responsible for the situation faced by minority communities in Assam.

The rally is part of Owaisi’s campaign outreach in the state ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
