Fans across India were left disappointed as Scorpions officially cancelled their much-anticipated “Coming Home” India Tour just days before its scheduled start. The announcement was made on April 18 by BookMyShow, citing unforeseen medical issues affecting members of the band.

The tour, which marked the band’s return to India after nearly two decades since their last visit in 2007, was set to begin in Shillong on April 21. It also included performances in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. All four shows now stand cancelled.

In an official statement, BookMyShow expressed regret over the sudden development and apologized to ticket holders for the inconvenience caused. However, no details were provided regarding the specific health concerns or which band members were affected.

The cancelled tour was a key part of Scorpions’ 60th-anniversary celebrations and was expected to feature some of their most iconic tracks, including “Wind of Change” and “Rock You Like a Hurricane.”

Despite the setback, the band conveyed their desire to return and perform in India once circumstances permit, leaving fans hopeful for a future tour.
