Second ‘Brilliante’ Piano Festival Begins In Nagaland

A three day extravaganza ‘Brilliante’ – the 2nd edition of Nagaland Piano Festival began on 29th October at Regional Centre Of Excellence For Music & Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma, Kohima in Nagaland.

The three day long festival shall witness pianists from Nagaland and the country as well as from abroad playing classics, jazz and contemporary forms.

Abu Metha, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland in a tweet echoed ‘such a joy to attend the Brilliante Piano festival. 100 pianos by extraordinary talents of Nagaland, congratulations to the entire music fraternity’.

102 pianists of all ages and levels came together to play Beethoven’s “Ode To Joy”.

The finalist were declared after the semi final and on 31st October the final competition will be held for junior and senior group.

The Festival is organized by the Brillante event team.
