Silchar: The Silchar District Sports Association (DSA) on Tuesday extended its heartfelt condolences to the family of Kamalendu Bhattacharjee, former president and lifetime member of the association, by formally handing over a condolence message in his memory.

A delegation from the DSA visited the bereaved family to pay their respects and acknowledge Bhattacharjee’s invaluable contributions to the sporting fraternity of Silchar. Present on the occasion were acting general secretary Debashish Shome, Sujan Dutta, treasurer Buddhadeb Choudhury, president Shibabrata Dutta, Ajay Kumar Chakraborty, Arijit Gupta, and Tamal Kanti Banik.

The DSA members remembered Bhattacharjee as a guiding force whose commitment and vision played a crucial role in the growth and success of the association. His legacy continues to inspire generations within the sports community.
