A Class 12 student, Sarthak Sidhant, has launched an open source website that makes government procurement data more accessible to the public. The platform was built by scraping nearly 1.66 crore government procurement files, with the aim of improving transparency and public access to spending records.

Sidhant, who earlier highlighted irregularities in the CBSE’s online evaluation portal, said the initiative is intended to promote digital accountability and make government procurement data easier for citizens, researchers, and journalists to explore.
