Silchar : The Barak Upatyaka Banga Sahitya o Sanskriti Sammelan has announced that the “Syed Mujtaba Ali Literary Festival – 2025” will be held on September 13 and 14 at Banga Bhawan, Silchar.

As part of the festival, a two-day seminar will be organised, and students, researchers, and admirers of Syed Mujtaba Ali have been invited to submit papers exploring the eminent writer’s diverse contributions—ranging from essays, short stories, and novels to his celebrated humorous works.

According to the organisers, each paper should be 1,500–2,000 words in length, with an abstract of 300–400 words. Both hard copies of the abstract and the full paper must reach the Banga Bhawan office by September 10.
