Congress Worker Allegedly Attacked at Polling Booth

Sribhumi: A tense situation was reported in Sribhumi district on Thursday following an alleged incident of violence at a polling station in the Sribhumi town area under the North Karimganj constituency.
According to allegations made by Congress workers, one of their party members was attacked by a BJP worker during polling hours. The victim was reportedly struck on the head with a sharp weapon, leading to serious injuries.

The injured individual was immediately rushed to Karimganj Civil Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Hospital sources said the condition of the victim is being closely monitored.
