In a striking display of skill and national pride, India has set a new record with the unfurling of a massive 60×40 metre national flag deep under the sea at Radhanagar Beach.
The historic feat took place at Swaraj Dweep in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where trained divers, along with multiple agencies, carried out the complex underwater operation with precision and coordination.
The achievement has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records, marking a proud moment for the nation. The event stands as a symbol of courage, teamwork, and deep respect for the Indian tricolour.
Officials said the effort not only highlights India’s growing expertise in underwater operations but also celebrates the spirit of unity and patriotism in a unique and powerful way.
