IMPHAL |  Manipur has earned recognition at the national level with the selection of Dr Pukhrambam Lilabati Devi of Manipur University and Wanglembam Gobin Singh of Laikon Upper Primary School, Imphal East, for the National Teachers’ Awards 2026.

Their selection is being hailed as a proud moment for the state and a recognition of their dedication, discipline and sustained commitment to education. The achievement also highlights the contribution of educators in shaping students and strengthening the education system in Manipur.
