Cachar district administration and District Mission management unit ASRLM Cachar has launched the Unnati project to ensure jobs with better wages

Intending to upgrade the skill base of workers and reduce their dependence on the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGA), Cachar district administration and District Mission management unit ASRLM Cachar has launched the Unnati project to ensure jobs with better wages.The project intends to improve the MGNREGA workers’ livelihoods, so that they can move from the current partial employment to full employment.

Speaking to Cachar ASRLM DMMU DFE Raj Kumar Birjeet Sana said that under this project, one adult member of a household in the 18-45 age group, who has completed 100 days of work under the MGNREGA, will be provided training through the Rural Skill Division of the Ministry of Rural Development through RSETI।
6 days long Core EDP training completed at PNB RSETI Cachar Silchar recently. The Validictory Program was attended by Jagajyothi Bhattacharya, Director PNB RSETI Cachar Silchar, DFE DMMU ASRLM Cachar Raj Kumar Birjeet Sana, Bapan Das DST cum Director Graduate Farmer Agrovet Pvt Ltd, M R Barbhuiya Domain skill trainer and Shahed A Choudhary Faculty PNB RSETI Cachar Silchar, Rimpa Sen Training Assistant.
Director PNB RSETI Cachar distributed certificates of participation to trainees along with other Guests. While speaking on the occasion, he impressed upon the candidates to take up these activities as an income generating activity. He applauded the role of RSETI in producing entrepreneurs. He advised the trainees to be job givers and not job seekers.
Raj Kumar Birjeet Sana urged the trainees to start business right away as with time the trainees might have a tendency to get absorbed again in the day to day tasks.

Bapan Das Director Graduate Farmers Agrovet Pvt Ltd gave an overview of various facilities available with the Graduate Farmers startup for specially Rural farmer. He assured that his Startup would provide the required support for setting up Mushroom unit & Antibiotics free Poultry Farming and for horticulture.The Director Graduate farmer while congratulating the youth urged them to work honestly and ensure best use of the training while performing efficiently in the field.

Shahed Alom Choudhary Training course coordinator of PNB RSETI Cachar said that this is a very unique kind of training institute with a novel idea of providing escort service to the poor and underprivileged post imparting the best of training possible in 6 days.

M R Barbhuiya told that RSETI is playing a significant role for creating Ghar Ghar Rozgar through skill development training. He said that PNB, RSETI, Cachar is working very proactively providing free of cost training to rural unemployed youth of the District in more than 60 courses. The candidates were felicitated with course completion certificates.
