Denizens of Maibang, the ancient capital city of Dimasa kingdom reiterated their genuine demand for a Footover bridge at Maibang railway station considering the safety of people living on both sides of the railway station.

Frontal students’ organisation like All Dimasa Student Union along with all the conscious people had been demanding a Footover bridge at Maibang. During last few years, several people lost their lives in run over accidents while crossing the railway track as there is no Footover bridge at Maibang.

Appreciating the railway authority for the introduction of Vistadom tourists special, conscious people argued if railway authority can introduce tourists special for the promotion of tourism in Dima Hasao then why not a Footover bridge at Maibang considering the safety, security of the people since safety, security and punctuality are the prime motto of N F Railway?
