To reach pre-covid levels for the Indian economy, the challenge is to see the glass half empty without overestimating fiscal boost,” opined Professor M.M. Goel Vice-Chancellor Starex University Gurugam and Founder of  Needonomics School of Thought. He was addressing online the participants of the International Conference organised by Upadhi (Post -Graduate) College Pilibhit in Collaboration with Indian Economic Association. He spoke on the topic “  Indian Economy: Implications of Covid  Crisis”.  Dr Angrez Rana delivered a welcome address and presented a citation on the achievements of Prof. M.M. Goel.

There are some red flags including low private consumption, unemployment, and inflation, and calls for measures including boosting the income of the middle class along with control on inflation believes Prof. Goel.

There is a strong case for giving priority on investment/exports, not domestic consumption by addressing  illness in behaviour of all the stakeholders in the economy including consumers, producers, distributors, traders, policy makers and politicians, believes Needonomist Goel.

Exporters need loans of sufficient quantum on zero rates of interest for saying no to second hand imported technology along with no to subsidies, said Prof. Goel.

To work without worries about reviving the economy, we have to be soul-conscious as the real education with higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) , believes founder Needonomics School of Thought.

Free rider problem inbuilt in the economy calls for effective implementation of the user pay principle with self-consciousness, told Prof. Goel

To succeed in our endeavour of Atamnirbhar Bharat, we need faith in the capabilities and capacities with disciplined lifestyle by understanding the power of worship with devotion, told Prof. Goel.

We have to adopt Gita based needonomics flowing Gita and becoming street SMART ( simple, moral, action-oriented, responsive and transparent), explained VC Starex University Prof. Goel.
