A Happy Pharmacist Day

Pharmacist Day 2021 was celebrated with tremendous joy by all faculty members and students of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Starex University.

At the beginning of the function, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. M.M. Goel said that trust in the wisdom of a pharmacist is cheaper and cost-effective more than the control of the doctor on them prevailing in the Indian health sector and greeted the pharmacists “A Happy Pharmacist Day”.

Dr. Neelam Dhankar, Head of the Department, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, delivered the welcome address and discussed briefly this year’s (2021) World Pharmacist Day theme – “Pharmacy: Trusted for your health”. A webinar entitled “Recent trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences” was conducted. The keynote speakers from industry, Ms. Ritu Kuhu, Manager, Novartis Healthcare, Gurugram and Academic expert, Dr. Aftab Alam, Associate Professor, College of Pharmacy, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Al-Kharj, KSA, were invited to share their views and thoughts with the students and encouraged them for future prospective.

At the end of the webinar session, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Mithlesh Yadav, Assistant Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

After this session, poster and rangoli competitions were held and students participated enthusiastically. They made beautiful posters and rangoli on the current theme i.e.  “Pharmacy: Trusted for your health”.

Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and Dean Academics evaluated the posters and rangoli and awarded the best poster and rangoli certificates to the winners.
