Hailakandi: Under the direction of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Gaurav Gogoi, the Congress party is set to launch a statewide campaign titled ‘My Booth, My Demand’ on July 26. The campaign aims to connect with the grassroots and understand the key issues and demands faced by citizens at the booth level.

As part of this initiative, Congress workers and delegates will visit their respective booth areas to conduct door-to-door interactions, identify pressing local issues, and record the concerns of the people. The collected inputs will be uploaded on the official website launched by the APCC www.assamjustice.com.

Additionally, the APCC has encouraged party members to share these issues across all social media platforms using the hashtags #AmarBoothAmarDabi and #JujekhonHobo, in an effort to amplify the people’s voice and ensure greater visibility of local concerns.

In a show of support for the Congress workers in Barak Valley, APCC president Gaurav Gogoi will undertake a one-day tour of Hailakandi district on July 26. During his visit, he will participate in a series of party programmes related to ‘My Booth, My Demand’, along with attending several social programmes aimed at public engagement.

Speaking about the campaign, APCC spokesperson Sanjeev Roy called upon all party members and citizens to actively participate in the initiative and contribute to its success.

“This campaign is not just about politics. It’s about listening to the people, understanding their needs, and ensuring that their voices are heard and represented. Let us come together to make this campaign impactful,” Roy said.
