GUWAHATI : From September 20, 2025, IndiGo will operate a morning flight between New Delhi and Silchar (via Guwahati) to improve Barak Valley’s air connectivity. The service was arranged under the initiative of Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, with gratitude expressed by Barak Valley Development Minister Kaushik Rai.

It is expected to benefit travellers amid ongoing road and rail connectivity challenges in the region.
