GUWAHATI : Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s son Nandil Sarma has successfully finished the Ironman 70.3 race in Bahrain, a contest that tests endurance, discipline, and steady mental focus. The event drew seasoned triathletes from several countries.
The race demanded a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km cycling leg, and a 21.1 km run. Nandil held his pace through each stage and completed the full circuit, marking a significant personal achievement in a field known for its difficulty.
Ironman races require months of training and a strong ability to stay composed under pressure. Nandil’s finish in Bahrain reflected that preparation and his determination to take on a global endurance challenge.
