Borkhola: Assam Police continued its crackdown on narcotics, seizing large quantities of heroin in coordinated operations across the state. The STF Assam and Kamrup Police recovered 1.358 kg of heroin worth about Rs.11 crore from Amingaon, while Cachar Police seized 139.13 grams during a separate operation at Borkhola. Investigations are underway to trace the network behind the consignments.
