Imphal: Imphal is set to witness a major cultural and unity-driven event on January 20, as the North East Integration Rally 2026 arrives in Manipur. The rally is being organised by KRC Foundation. The central theme of the rally is “Peace, Progress, Prosperity”, with a special focus on unity and harmony across the Northeast.

At 9 AM, the Reception and Flag Off Ceremony will take place at Sekmai, near the SBI Branch on NHS Koirengei Road, Imphal. The rally will then pass through key locations including Kangla Western Gate and Kwakeithel, marking its symbolic journey across the city.

It will be followed by the Reception of the NEIR at the Imphal Peace Museum, Maibam Lotpa Ching, Bishnupur, from 10.30 AM to 12 PM. The session will highlight the theme “Where History Meets Harmony” and celebrate the shared heritage and cultural diversity of the region. The reception (of the rally) is being done in collaboration with Imphal Peace Museum and other partner organisations.

In the afternoon, the celebrations will continue with the NEIR Fest, scheduled from 3 PM to 6 PM at Gandhi Memorial Hall, B.T. Road, Imphal. The fest is being organised in collaboration with ATINGA and supported by goertrip.com. Cultural performances and community interactions are expected to be the highlights of the evening.
