Dholai: The foundation stone for the Dowarband Primary Health Centre was laid on Monday at Sonacherra GP under the Dholai Assembly constituency. The project has been approved with a budget of Rs 2.42 crore.

The programme was attended by MLA Nihar Ranjan Das along with Minister Kaushik Rai. Speakers said the new health centre will help local people get quick and better medical services in the area.

Also present at the event were Zilla Parishad member Dharmendra Tiwari, Anchalik Panchayat chairperson Bulti Deb, GP president Dibakar Goala, and other dignitaries.
