Silchar: A key organisational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party was held at the party’s Cachar district office on Wednesday to discuss preparations for the upcoming elections and strengthen the party organisation in the region.

The meeting was attended by district president Rupam Saha, Assam minister Kaushik Rai, Member of Parliament from Madhya Pradesh Kavita Patidar, Rajya Sabha MP Kanad Purkayastha, senior leader Nitya Bhushan Dey, along with several other party leaders and workers.
During the meeting, leaders discussed strategies to intensify election preparations and further strengthen the organisational structure of the party in the district.
Party leaders said the discussions were detailed and the meeting concluded on a productive note, with emphasis placed on coordinated efforts by party workers in the run-up to the elections.
