AIZAWL: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to visit Mizoram on October 5 and inaugurate several development projects, government officials said on September 25.

According to the officials, Shah is expected to inaugurate projects related to the state Cooperation Department during his visit. However, the detailed itinerary for the Home Minister is yet to be received.

Preparations for the proposed visit have already begun in the state, officials said. Further details regarding the programmes and projects to be inaugurated are expected once the official schedule is received.
