SILCHAR : A serious incident unfolded in Dholai Bazaar on Wednesday night around 10 PM, when businessman Kajol Paul and his wife Archana Paul were assaulted by Deep Paul, a youth allegedly linked to the ruling party. The attack has sparked outrage across the area.

Kajol Paul has filed a police complaint at Dholai PS, naming Deep Paul, son of the late Swapan Paul, as the main accused. The couple’s daughter stated that Deep had been harassing her with lewd comments for months, making it difficult for her to even move about freely in the locality.
