Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha to hold events on Netaji in Moirang on Feb 1

Imphal: The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha is going to organise a media conference at Manipur Press Club on Tuesday. The conference, which will be convened by the Mahasabha’s president for Assam and the Northeast Biswadeep Gupta, where he will brief the press about freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and related aspects.

The news conference will be followed by a talk on Bose’s war criminal tag and the announcement of a signature campaign to be started at INA Complex, Moirang on February 1. The objective of the signature campaign is to gather signatures of people seeking withdrawal of the tag of “war criminal” from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s name from all international organisations including the Commonwealth of Nations and United Nations. 

Later on February 1, Gupta will pay floral tribute to a statue of Netaji at INA Complex, where the first National Flag was hoisted by INA soldiers. An interactive session will also be organised at INA Conference Hall, Moirang in which INA veteran’s family members are expected to be present.
