Rakhi Sawant defended her unique sense of style in a very different style this time. In a return that was marked by controversy, Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant has once again found herself at the center of a heated debate.

After spending several months in Dubai, Sawant faced backlash for her derogatory remarks targeting the northeastern state of Nagaland.

Addressing the media upon her arrival, Sawant made insensitive comparisons, likening the hills of Nagaland to her own physical attributes. She was quoted saying, “Don’t take my oops moments. Your focus is only on my Karan Arjun (the breast area) and my Nagaland. Why do you do it? Whenever I see social media, your camera angles are in different place. This is wrong. Being an Indian citizen, I will come to India not Nagaland. This is my country, I will come here only”.

The remarks immediately ignited a firestorm on social media, with many condemning Sawant’s comments as disrespectful and offensive.

Netizens expressed outrage over her insensitivity towards a diverse region of India and called for an apology.
