Silchar: Bhabikal Theatre Group is gearing up to launch its much-anticipated Summer Youth Theatre Workshop from July 12, continuing its mission to promote young talent in the performing arts. The 10-day workshop, scheduled to conclude on July 21, will be production-oriented and marks the initial phase of a broader three-phase theatre initiative.

Participants will gain the opportunity to be involved in a full-scale theatrical performance, which will be staged following the completion of the second and third phases of the project. Organisers from Bhabikal have highlighted that the workshop will offer practical training in theatre production along with essential acting techniques.

Established in 2007, Bhabikal has consistently conducted workshops for children and youth, exploring various aspects of theatre arts. This year’s programme includes training modules on acting, voice modulation, personality development, and diverse theatrical styles promising a well-rounded learning experience for budding performers.
