Guwahati: Following the Bharatiya Janata Party’s sweeping victory in the 2026 Assam Legislative Assembly elections, the Assam Pradesh BJP is set to organise a grand felicitation ceremony for its 82 newly-elected MLAs on Tuesday evening in Guwahati.

The programme will begin at 6 PM at the Srimanta Sankardev International Auditorium.

According to a statement issued by the Assam Pradesh BJP headquarters, the party will also honour presidents of all 39 organisational districts and 433 mandals for their role in securing the BJP’s third consecutive electoral victory in the state.

Senior party leaders, newly-elected legislators, office bearers, and workers from across Assam are expected to attend the event.
