Silchar: Kishor Nath, the BJP candidate from Barkhola in Barak Valley, has expressed gratitude to the party leadership for reposing faith in him by granting the ticket for the upcoming Assam Assembly Elections 2026.

Thanking the leadership, Nath said he is determined to repay the trust with a record-breaking victory from the constituency.

Speaking about the Barak Valley region, he acknowledged that challenges exist but stressed that his priority will be to address local issues effectively. He noted that while some minor problems remain, steps will be taken to resolve them in the coming days.

He also expressed confidence in the continued development of the region, adding that efforts will be made to further strengthen progress at the grassroots level ahead of the elections.
