Dholai: Dholai is now seeing a sharp rise in political activity as the Bharatiya Janata Party steps up its booth-level campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. The party carried out an intensive, day-long outreach drive across the Palonghat Mandal, aiming to strengthen its grassroots presence and connect directly with voters at the booth level.

From early morning till late evening, a series of meetings, interactions, and small gatherings were organised across 29 booths in the area. Party leaders, workers, and local supporters actively took part in these programmes.

The focus remained on building stronger coordination among booth committees, understanding local issues, and mobilising support from every household.

The campaign was not limited to speeches alone. Leaders engaged in direct conversations with residents, listened to their concerns, and discussed development work carried out in recent years. Emphasis was also laid on ensuring that party workers remain active, united, and well-prepared as the election approaches.

Speaking during the campaign, BJP candidate Amiya Kanti Das expressed strong confidence about the party’s prospects in Dholai. He stated that the response from the people has been very encouraging and reflects growing support for the party. According to him, the organised booth-level structure and continuous public engagement will play a key role in securing victory.

Party workers also showed high enthusiasm throughout the day, which leaders believe is a positive sign for the campaign. With such sustained efforts at the grassroots level, the BJP appears determined to consolidate its position and convert public support into electoral success in the coming polls.
