Imphal : Rahul Gandhi appeals for peace in Manipur. Gandhi said that violence will not be a solution for anything. He appealed all communities to maintain peace He also said the facilities in the relief camp should be improved by the state Government.

Earlier in the day he visited Moirang where he was given a warm welcome.He could reach Moirang by chopper as the landing permission was given by the state Government late at yesterday night.Yesterday Rahul Gandhi was stopped at Bishnupur by district administration while he was travelling by road to Churachandpur and was suppose to stay over at Moirang.

After returning from Moirang Gandhi had meetings with various CSOs at Imphal. He later paid a visit to the Governor of Manipur after that he left Imphal.
