“For searching the solutions of prevailing socio-economic problems, we have to adopt Gita-based needonomics,” opined Professor M.M. Goel Vice-Chancellor Starex University Gurugam and Founder of  Needonomics School of Thought. He was addressing the participants of the International Conference on Ethics and Philosophy in Bhagavad-Gita jointly organised by Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal Haryana & CRSU Jind. He spoke on the topic “Gita based Needonomics for Atamnirbhar Bharat”.  Dr Pawan Kumar delivered a welcome address and presented a citation on the achievements of Prof. M.M. Goel.

Atamnirbhar Bharat is an opportunity for getting global leadership by adopting needonomics flowing from verse 22 of chapter 9 in Gita and used by LIC of India in its logo ‘Yogakshemam Vahamyaham’ (Your welfare is our responsibility) and becoming street SMART ( simple, moral,action-oriented, responsive and transparent), explained needonomist Goel.

To work without worries for Atamnirbhar Bharat, we have to be soul-conscious as the real education needed today in addition to proper, productive and practical (3P) use of head, heart, and hands (3H), believes founder Needonomics School of Thought.

Free rider problem inbuilt in the economy calls for effective implementation of the user pay principle with self-consciousness, told Prof. Goel

We have to address the illness in the behaviour of all the stakeholders in the economy including consumers, producers, distributors, traders, policymakers and politicians, told Prof. Goel.

To become vishavguru, we have to learn gurudom of the self as the soul with awakening, awareness, and alertness, believes, Prof. Goel.

To succeed in our endeavour of Atamnirbhar Bharat, we need faith in the capabilities and capacities with disciplined lifestyle by understanding the power of worship with devotion, told Prof. Goel.

To achieve atmanirbharta, we need the REACH model with five steps including reading gits, empowerment with enlightenment, altruistic approach, commitment and hold on needs, explained Prof. Goel.
