Assam BJP state president Ranjit Das who is in Barak Valley went to take stock of the progress work of huge pandal which is coming up at Karimganj Govt higher secondary school playground. Talking to media Ranjit Das informed that along with State Incharge Baijayant Panda, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and NEDA Convenor Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, all MLAs, MPs along with more than 700 office bearers and executives across the state are going to come down to Karimganj to attend the grand executive meeting which is going to be held on 23rd & 24th of this month.

All the delegates will be staying in party member’s houses spread across different wards of Karimganj, besides some in guest houses, Das informed while commenting on the preparation towards the executive meeting. This is the first time Karimganj will be hosting BJP state-level executive meeting.

Ranjit Das said that this time from Barak Valley BJP is going get 12 seats for sure, including one from Hailakandi where there was no BJP MLA till date. On joining process of Congress members and leaders in BJP Das said BJP is not just a party it’s a mission. So those who are inclined to serve the nation are always welcome in the party. Be it an MLA or any leader from other parties, when they join BJP, they all are termed as the karyakartas of BJP.

Today the new list of executive members enlisted was declared and from the youth wing of BJP i.e BJYM, in the state committee Monoj Talukdar, ex BJYM Cachar district president,  was inducted.
