“Holistic education in 360 degrees four quadrants under Indian Knowledge System ensure national integrity, socio-cultural and constitutional values  with needonomics and responsibility, accountability and morality (RAM),” believes Propounder Needonomics School of Thought Dr Madan Mohan Goel, Former Vice-Chancellor superannuated Professor from Kurukshetra University. He was addressing the teachers and students of school of Management CMR University here today. His topic was “ Relevance of Needonomics for Holistic Education under Indian Knowledge System ”. Ms. Thusharika Sahu, delivered the welcome address and presented a citation on the achievements of Prof. M.M. Goel.

Holistic education aims to prepare individuals for facing challenges of all kinds with Needo-solutions, told former VC Dr Goel.

For holistic education under Indian Knowledge System, we must understand and adopt Gita-based thought on needonomics, explained Needonomist Goel.

Needo-education of needonomics as a commonsense approach is a necessary and sufficient condition for holistic education, said Prof. Goel.

The domain of needonomics includes needo-consumption, needo-saving, needo-investment, needo-growth, needo-exports, needo-altruism for needo-wealth, needo-health, and needo-happiness, said Prof. Goel.

To script a new narrative of Indian Knowledge System, we must be bold, courageous, and enthusiastic to become street SMART (simple, moral, action-oriented, responsive, and transparent) global citizens, explained Prof. Goel.  The event was organized by School of Management in association with Institution Innovation Council (IIC). Prof. Goel was addressing to the students of Management and Computer Applications in which around 150 students participated in the seminar.

The event was arranged by Dr. Purna Prasad Arcot, Director,  Management,  Dr. Ashok , Director, Science and Computer Studies and Dr. Balasubramanian,  Head, Management.
