Silchar: Acting on specific inputs, police in Assam’s Silchar carried out three anti-drug operations near Silchar Railway Station, Lailapur and Sonai, leading to the seizure of 616.6 grams of suspected heroin.

According to police, four alleged drug peddlers were arrested during the operations conducted by Cachar Police. Authorities said further investigation is underway.
