With the integration, candidates appearing for APSC recruitment processes will no longer be required to submit multiple physical documents during verification. Instead, the commission will be able to securely access and authenticate documents stored in DigiLocker.
The initiative is expected to streamline the verification process, reduce paperwork and save time for both candidates and the commission. It will also help curb document forgery by enabling secure digital authentication of certificates and other credentials.
The state government said the move is part of its broader push to improve transparency, efficiency and ease of access in public recruitment through digital governance.
