Asom Yuva Parishad Holds Meeting in Support of BJP Candidate Kishor Nath in Barkhola

Barkhola: Leaders of the Asom Yuva Parishad, the youth wing of the AGP, held an organisational meeting on Tuesday morning at the residence of BJP candidate Kishor Nath in the Barkhola legislative constituency. The meeting focused on strengthening campaign strategy and planning for the upcoming Assembly elections.

Among those present were Yuva Parishad central committee secretary Nacbub Hussain Laskar, district president Rupam Modak, vice-presidents Ayaz Uddin Barbhuiya (Manna) and Sanjib Nath, general secretaries Bapan Das and Raj Laskar, executive member Ajay Nandi, and Barkhola constituency committee president Bappi Boralaskar, among others.

At the end of the meeting, the leaders felicitated Kishor Nath by presenting him with traditional uttariyas.

Speaking on the occasion, central committee secretary Nacbub Hussain Laskar expressed confidence that the alliance-backed candidate would secure victory with strong support from minority communities in the Barak Valley. He said party workers have already intensified grassroots campaigning to strengthen organisational presence.

District president Rupam Modak said that the Yuva Parishad has a strong base in Barkhola and expressed hope that the alliance candidate would win by a record margin. He added that party workers are fully committed to the alliance’s decisions and are actively working on the ground.

Other leaders also discussed various aspects of election preparedness and stressed the need to highlight the alliance’s development agenda among voters. The meeting is expected to give fresh momentum to the alliance’s campaign in the Barak Valley region.
