Silchar: Cachar District Commissioner Mridul Yadav on Friday paid solemn homage to BSF constable Rajib Nunia, who lost his life during the recent flash floods in Jammu while on duty.

Senior Superintendent of Police Numal Mahatta, Co-District Commissioner of Dholai and Additional DC (DDMA) Raktim Baruah, along with several officials, also laid floral tributes in honour of the fallen jawan.

The district administration expressed its deepest condolences to constable Nunia’s family, his colleagues, and the Border Security Force fraternity, remembering his sacrifice in the line of duty.
