Manipur CM Distributes PMFME Subsidies to 2,835 Beneficiaries in Imphal

Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh distributed subsidies to 2,835 eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme at Yumnam Leikai Yumjao Lairembi Lampak in Imphal on Thursday.

The initiative aims to support small and unorganised food-processing businesses by helping them upgrade their operations and expand their enterprises.

Taking to social media, the Chief Minister said the scheme would also help such businesses transition into the formal economy and create better opportunities for growth.

The distribution programme was held as part of the state government’s efforts to support micro food-processing enterprises and strengthen the local economy.
